The title pretty much says it. Looking for recommendations for good quality small (3" or under closed) lockblades can be liner lock, lockback or framelock. Natural or synthetic handles. Price up to $100 or so is okay, would prefer closer to the $65 mark, though. I have a Buck 325 and think it's kind of neat, but would prefer higher quality steel.

Thanks for your insight:)

WELL THATS ALL I COULD FIND HOPE THIS HELPS

Depends what you seek, modern or traditional?

Look at a MOKI lockback in jigged bone, very well executed

CASE Copperlock&Mini Copperlock in lots of scale choices not expensive.

Bucks of course

The finest contemporary locker is a Benchmade Mini Grip in my experience.

Lots more on offer no doubt:thumbup:

Thanks for all of the fabulous recommendations. To clarify, though I'm looking for Smaller knives. 3" or under closed length. Can't pass up a great deal when you see one though;)

Buck 501 would be a good one.

Spyderco makes good lockbacks too. Something like the Caly III for example or the G10 Delica or Rookie. All great knives.

Kershaw has one called the Gents folder that is an awesome folder for the money.

spyderco- delica kershaw-1044 or one of their ranger models (some of their older knives) buck 501.

Blade-Tech Mouse Lite. They currently make an AUS-8 version for about $20 and they are great. You can still find the 440C version for around $30 and occasionally they carbon fiber or G-10 S30V versions.

Great little EDC's!!

Also......... +1 on the Spyderco Delica!!!

Fallkiven U2 is an excellent less then 3"
The sandwiched steel holds a razor edge for ever.
Nice style
Ultralight
No clip, but a lanyard hole.

Thanks again for all of the fabulous recommendations:thumbup: I'm generally a custom slipjoint kind of guy, but I have recently become interested in some of the factory offerings again. It's amazing how quickly you lose track of what's out there. I probably haven't EDC'd a factory knife for close to 3 years and most of my collecting has been in the Custom slipjoint lineup for at least the last 6 years.

P.S.

It's obvious that this return of interest in factory knives isn't going to save me damn cent. I've already ordered over $300 in factory knives in the last couple of weeks:o
