Hey guys,

please remember Virginia Tech today

April 16, 2007, we lost 32 in a terrible tragedy. Today marks 5 years since it happened. there are still some on campus who remember it because they were here, whether it be faculty or students (now grad students)

I am sitting in one of the student centers now, the day just feels off/wrong, especially crossing the drillfield. It is an absolutely beautiful day out, but everything still just feels wrong...It is a feeling that I don't think that I can ever feel anywhere/anytime else. I am only a freshman and wasn't here, but I still remember...

My father & several other family members & friends are Hokies. I remember that day too well.

Ya, it was definitely a darker day today. Beautiful weather, but I just couldn't enjoy it. I am a freshman but I will never forget what happened that day.....
