Muan Morrf. Seriously. I think I'm going to buy a lot more from Custom Knife Factory. I am blown away by this knife. I've got an Asymmetric en Route as well and now I'm just that much more excited to check it out. My EDC for the last six months has been my Microtech DOC and it's a little overkill (pun intended). I love my DOC but if it's a B-52 this Morrf is a Mig-29. The action on this is on par with some stuff in a way higher price range, I can't believe how early lockup is, and centering couldn't get better. I'm really impressed as you may have gathered. I just wanted to pass that on. I love it when someone does something special at such a value. I guess value is relative but this knife was under $300 and to me that is outstanding for what you get.

Very nice. I had both the full ti and the plain version of the one you have. I ended up keeping only the G10 model. Its a great knife. Did you buy a customized version or did you have a stock knife pimped?

Pretty nice!

I like the cool pouch, and the knife has a quality look - thanks for the pictures.

This is a customized version from the factory with anodized TI and polished hardware. The ano has this cool "fingerprint" look to it. Really beautiful.

I do steel heat coloring, and im not sure how ti anodization compares, but when im coloring, if I dont use an acid solution to wipe off the finger prints of the piece of steel im working, then it will literally embed finger prints into it, albeit, theyre a gorgeous rainbow color. Nonetheless, its still colored finger prints on the knife.

I wonder if this can happen with anodization?

Yes it happens with Titanium as well. Every piece of Ti I have ever seen be it on a knife, car, or boat that is professionally done is cleaned thoroughly many times in different solutions to remove any oil or solvents before the process begins. Taking a torch to a piece of Ti is a different story, and can be done very crudely and the results match the methodology.
