Just wondering about this model, what is your experience with this knife? Thanks for the help;)

KC,
I think the Badger is the most under-rated of the Combat line. It is my all-time favorite, small and light enough to easily carry and yet it can handle just about any chore. I have often used mine to chop off branches and it works great. It is probably not only my most used knife but also my most used tool. I've used it when repairing my deck and even used it last night while doing some plumbing demolition. :D

I have some comparison photos around here somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them up

I'll just continue where Eric left off and say that:

The BA and NO share a real close utilization curve. The BA is the smallest of the E-handles, thus lightest, and perhaps the most handy in the Combat line; however, at the cost of slightly more weight and heft, the NO provides more leverage and mass. More effecient at chopping and prying.

If weight and compactness are paramount the BA gets the nod. If ounce-shaving backpacking not the game, the NO might take the lead.

Seth brings up a couple of important points. The real question is what will you be using it for?

Here are a couple of pics:

Seth pretty much said everything I wanted to say.

I have both and enjoy the portability, concealability and handiness of the BA. I wind up grabbing the NO most of the time however because when I need to carry a knife of that class, genrally weight and concealment are not great considerations.

I do like the additional size, chopping ability and index finger relief in the choil of the NO, wish the BA had the latter.

With all of that said, The BA/E is a handy knife with capabilities that its size belies.

Thank you for the helpful response guys, and thanks for those great pics Eric. What I really like are the handles on the BA they look perfect for my hands. I can see how this Busse addiction works, I wanted A NO, and now I think I need A BA as well damn do they have
Busseaholics meetings in California?;)
