I'd like an ID on this knife if possible. It has an aus-8 blade, and was made in the seki city factory.

Cutting edge is 3.25", blade length is about 3.75", and oal is around 8.5".

I think, emphasis think, that it is an Endura Gen 2. Though it should have an AUS-6 blade and writing on the pocket clip. http://spydercosource.com/2009/08/spyderco-endura-ii-c47/ This is where I was sent to look for an older Spyderco imported knife.

Correct, it's an Endura 2 and the blade is AUS-6. The font they used makes it easy to mistake the 6 for an 8 and, AFAIK, the Endura 2 never came in any other steel. As for the clip, the markings on those changed over the years. Earlier ones had patent markings, later ones the "bug". Boye dent also dates the knife as having been made between 2002, when it was added, and 2006, when the Endura 2 was replaced by the all stainless version of the Endura 4 in VG-10 with a 4 way clip.

Thanks guys. I just took a closer look, and it is in fact aus-6 for the blad steel. Thanks for the help.
