Actually, if it's in October, there's about a 50/50 chance I won't make it this fall.
One weekend in October, I'll be at a conference. Another weekend, I'll be taking care of my children while my wife is at a conference.
And there's a chance, if this year's Mega Hike is held at the end of October like last year, I will be hiking that weekend.
Ah well, there's always spring.

I dunno. 14 hours of driving the motorhome for me. Figured it out for the last one, and at that time it would cost a couple of grand round trip. That's a lot of Beckers.

motahouse? Wldn't ever get that up to the camp....it takes a decent 4x4 to get up there, no way a RV is fitting. switchback trails and washouts....plus low limbs. We need to figure out a shuttle system for fly-ins....I aint sure where the closest airport is, but if I go I'd be happy to pick a few 'Heads up at the airport.

Closest airport is probably in Knoxville. As long as I have my car I have no problem running shuttle. However I am not sure I'll have Angel there or not. I enjoyed myself carpooling with Psy and 1066. The fact I can't drive long distances alone anymore really puts a damper on doing those kinds of drives.
