I, like many of you, consider this my "home" forum. I've made many friends that participate in this forum and I enjoy sharing stuff with these friends.

However, please try to keep "off-topic" threads to a minimum. There are plenty of forums on BF and about any topic you can think of has a forum for it somewhere on Bladeforums. Please try to post in the correct location.

I'm sure some threads will still be posted here. However, consider yourself warned if you post a political or whining thread here just to try and start a fight(or to whine) you will receive a warning/infraction. I will not be nice and just move it to an appropriate forum. I will hand out infraction/warnings or worse depending on the post. If you email me and say "well such and such did it" I'll send you a link to this thread, I won't be sorry, I won't feel your pain. This is the Busse forum, try to keep your topics related to Busse Combat (and no adding a pic of a Busse isn't going to cut it)

Eric, I think you're forgetting the natural law of connection to Chuck Norris. Everything on earth is only 7 steps away from being connection to him, that includes Busse knives. Therefore in reverse every topic on earth is technically no more than a maximum of fourteen steps from being directly related to a Busse knife.

I can create a viso relationship diagram if needed to demonstrate....let me know.
 
Is posting about off topic posts on the Busse forum considered off topic? Or is it considered warning about off topic posts, but, its still off topic. Or, is it a time/space vortex of on/off topic things that are above the normal theme?

I rarely post "off topics", but when I do, it is because I either want an opinion or information from people here that I trust and not the general public. I have also hung out here to enjoy the entertainment (threads that I guess would be considered "off topic", like best cigars, booze, guns, humor, etc.) that in the past has made this the forum it is, or maybe I should say was. A lot of the guys that made this forum fun don't seem to be around much or at all anymore, unfortunately. :(

I have less concern about these type's of threads then some of the other off-topic threads.
As long as the poster is careful about the thread they should be fine, just wanted to warn in advance about some threads being inappropriate for this forum. (more along the line of whining and politics)
 
Can we still post off topic posts, in on topic threads?

Also can I brag about my dog giving birth to three cute pups?

I'm a big fan of the complete banning of political threads. They can cause nothing but animosity, and serve no purpose in the context of these forums.



As long as alcohol related threads remain on topic enough to be safe, we will be good.
 
Threads on Politics and Religion will always go into the basement and it never takes very long either.

So yeah I agree. :thumbup:
