A package arrived today, and was pleased with the contents. A Kershaw Spec Bump and a Cyclone.
I got a little nervous at first with the Spec Bump, as I could not open it. Then I noticed the lock, and all was well. I am happy with the fit and finish, and it fits nicely in my hand, and looks nice.
The Cyclone is a heck of a folder, size wise. Its fit and finish is excellent as well, solid, and feels good in my hands.
I am going to try both at work, but I can tell right away that the Cyclone is probably a bit more utilitarian, if for nothing else, blade shape. Luckily, I could carry a 12" camp knife if I wanted at work, and nobody would think twice, so shape and size will not deter me from carrying either of them there.
Overall, I am very pleased. We'll see over the next couple of weeks which one goes where-one will be my work knife, the other my EDC.
Thanks to the Blade Forums, and all the folks who post. I haven't touched either one of these knives before today, but I decided on the two due in part to your positive comments about them. Thanks for being honest.
