A while back I posted a pic of a knife that was forged from old spring tine cultivator blades. It generated some interests and a couple of orders for knives fashioned in a similar manner. (One of these may even be for a fellow forum member)

Here are two more forged from some of that old farm steel.

First up........ Plowshares II
OAL - 11 1/4"
Blade Tip to Guard - 6 3/4"
Stainless guard w/nickel-silver buttcap

Next, little brother....... Plowshares III
OAL - 9 5/8"
Blade Tip to Guard - 5"

Thanks for lookin'....... Robert

Wow! I really love the first one! Maybe its the blade that does it. The blade looks lighter infront..

How much would it cost to have something like this made? Please PM me if you dont like to show it here.

I have been looking around on your web page, and I see alot of your knives that is not listed there. Wich is a shame because I really like your style!

Is the top one for me? Let me know it sure looks good :)

The measurement specs look like my sizing

What type of steel is it? and the handle size?

Dr. D quote,

You need to be sure you get John Deere scrap steel in the blade and not Ford or Case(the tractor). John Deere scrap is superior!

Dr. D I think this is an old 1966 Dodge Polara

Unfortunately I will wait for another knife to fit my big paws. That hurts not buying one of those.

I'm sure they will find happy homes.

Dr. D are you interested?
