Hoping someone may be able to help identify this double bit Plumb. Interestingly, it has the makers mark right in the middle between the two beveled cheeks. Most double bits I've seen online have the makers mark off to one side, with the middle section being used for a sticker.
This axe looks like a sticker was never applied to it. It does have the red epoxy permabond in the eye and the 34" haft is a faded red stain. I am trying to determine the model...Western?, Michigan? Jet Wing? and the time frame of production. I assume because of the Permabond it must be post 1956. Dimensions:9.5" wide, 4.5" top to bottom of blades. I am attaching photos of both the front and back.
