I'd like my son to use my old Plumb 11634 Scout axe but the sheath is just too weak. Seems like it would be easy to find a replacement from Plumb but no luck so far.

So I've come to the Fountainhead for your advice . . .

Thought about making one. Maybe good for the boy to be in on that. It just seems as though there ought to be a bin of them out there somewhere.

Maybe Ebay?

Or just have one made. We use leather blade covers on our hawks and they work just fine. Or even have a leather belt sheath or even Kydex.

perhaps you could use the old one for a pattern, not like you have not thought of that....
I have a Pumb that also needs a sheath!

I still can't believe Plumb's can't provide replacement parts. Are they out of business?
