Hello! I have observing this site off and on for years and finally decided to join. I will be retiring soon and and will have more time to learn from you guys.
I would like to start off with a question. I stumbled across a Plumb 3.2 double bit axe the other day and it followed me home. I am not new to axes, but this one is different. It has phantom bevels on only one side of the axe, not both. Is this unusual? I have seen them without and with bevels on both sides. Not one side only.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I will add pictures Sunday evening. Out of town for the weekend.

Welcome! and excellent screen name!

Maybe others have, but I have never heard of a DB axe with phantom bevels on only one bit. Sounds pretty cool to me. I believe the Plumb axes with the bevels were callet Jet Wing. Post some pictures for us to look at! you'll have to use an image hosting service. I use postimage, it's free and super easy to use. Post the 'hotlink for forums' link, like this
