For the old timers here, there is a Face Book site on Buck Knives where the son of good Old Plumber Dave posted about his Dad's collection.....I am trying to get him to join here since his Dad was well liked. I also told him to get a Gold membership since I think he is looking to sell them....Anyone on that FB site try and get him to join us.....

If PB's son wants to join us he is certainly welcome. Lets show respect to a good past member and be careful in doing all the right things in the talk about him selling off some his dad's collection. Remember to say he can show photos all he wants but actual sale talk has to go up in the sale section. I would ask that some of you knife hounds be gentle with this situation, please. Yeah, I sure miss that ole one-eyed pipefitter , as he used to refer to himself. He sure has one hell of a collection.

I only knew Plumber Dave from the forum but he was a great guy. I was hoping to meet him one day as he lived relatively close to me. It never came to be.

Good guy. I've lost some other good friends on other knife forums. Its kind of funny. Sometimes folks on these forums are just as close or closer than folks we know in person.
