hi all, have a question on plunge type locks as found on the microtech ums for example. in my mind the lock if well fitting should be a fairly dependable . if the lock came with that secondary safety that slides up to prevent the button from being pressed does it also prevent the plunge part of the lock from moving under stress thereby adding to the dependability of the lock ?? i tried a search on this but havent found alot written about this type of lock.
as always thanks for the info high.

Microtech is more popular in its auto persuasion.

Perhaps in that section of the forum an answer would more readily be found.

Sounds to me that your describing Benchmades safety, though.
