I know John Grimsmo made a few sets that were snatched up rather quickly...Does anybody know of another source for replacement titanium (or carbon fiber) scales for PM 2?

Thanks!!

John is going to do a second run as soon as he gets enough people signed up. He thought it would be a couple months.

Or you could wait for the Spyderco factory version to come out.

Guess I'll have to order a set for my blue M390 from JG, and get the new one when available. Any idea on when or where to look to order/preorder? What steel will they be using for the blade?

I don't know how long we will have to wait or what steel, but I want one.I hope the blade steel is something besides S30V...Just my personal thoughts...

The prototype was supposedly an integral compression lock, as seen on the ATR.
Not even officially announced so be prepared for a lengthy wait for it- if it happens at all.

I ll be happy with any lock improvement on the PM2! I personally hate the current lock! Thats why mine are going up for sale soon. I love the rest of the knife so I will be all over a framelock or IC lock!! I also agree on the steel. Give me some killer steel! M4, 3V, CTS HXP, ZDP-189, Super Blue!! Bring it Sal!!

If anyone is interested, I think John has a few PM2 scales left over (either seconds or returns, I'd guess). Give him a call!
