The lock is perfect, absolutely no vertical or lateral blade play. Razorsharp ot of box, excellent finish, perfectly symmetrical grind.

Does this refer to the blade shape? It depends on your sharpening skills. I have no problem with recurves, since I sharpen with a hand-held ceramic rod. Did this for years, so I am used to it.
