PM2 Accessories

It’s all about making it yours. Some folks go all out to personalize one. If you like deep carry clips, then yeah change it out. Other than that, there’s no advantage in changing stuff out.
 
I don’t know about back spacers, but I like adding a titanium clip and lanyard plug to mine. The clip is a real upgrade, and the plug looks nicer than a big useless hole.
 
It could keep the inside of the knife a little cleaner. But keep in mind that a backspacer that’s even a little bit too thick can mess up the alignment of the whole knife.
 
I can see a pair of contoured scales plus a deep carry clip can improve the ergo and comfort of carry of PM2.
 
Cosmetic. The PM2 is basically as perfect out of the box as they come. Some will argue you need to change the clip orientation to tip up carry but that’s about it.
 
Titanium hardware including lanyard tube will save you an infinitesimal amount of weight.

I like plastic scales only in my hard use and beater knives, so I usually replace them with wooden ones, but I keep the original hardware.
