Hey y’all,
So I’ve been thinking about picking up a PM2. I had one a while ago but ended up selling it. It was just a little too big and tacticool (Digi/DLC) plus wasn’t a fan of the compression lock.
But times have changed, mainly I wear more jeans now so the weight is less of an issue and they have a left handed model. I’d still like a DLC blade, which doesn’t exist in the left handed model. I was thinking I could purchase the Lefty model and a DLC model and then swap the blades. But I’m not totally sure if the compression lock is compatible.
I know that it’s not a “reverse liner lock” like some people describe it as. I know that the cross sectional area of the liner must be crushed to fail rather than simply bend like a liner lock. But what I don’t know is if the lock interface has an angled grind to “catch” the lock like on a liner lock. If so, I obviously won’t be able to as the grinds will be opposite but I haven’t been able to find any info on this.
Thanks
