PM2 discontinued estimation? + Nirvana refinish?

I've been using my s110v PM2 for work a damn long time and sharpening and stropping it as needed. So, as we could expect, it's about .079 inches shorter than when I first got it so some time I'd like to get a new one that would fit the titanium scales. With the PM3 (yes I said it) out when should I expect to nab another blurp so I can swap the blade out?

So I don't waste another thread my second question:
Also RIP nirvana. I hope I can get one before they all dry up. I'm thinking of getting it refinished to satin to match my benchmade CF 940 so can anyone recommend a service? Will the logo and the text disappear even though the process would be taking off but a hair thickness (if that) of the metal?

If you really love that knife buy a second or even a third. It is more worth it to get another of a knife that you know you will love than another for the collection that you think you want now but when the novelty wears off you’ll be like “meh”.

Yes the logo on the Nirvana will be removed from refinishing the blade.

Yeah I guess I'll sink another buck fifty in to a second blurp PM2. I'll sit on it for a while as I'm sure they get regularly produced as popular as the PM2s are. Maybe most popular folder ever?

Drat. The bead blasted finish does not show off all that beautiful steel but I of course would like to keep the logo for my own aesthetic reasons. I am too picky with this.

@razor-edge-knives has a great for blade finishing, among other things.

Thanks, I will message him in the future.

PM2 is not even close to the most popular folder ever. Maybe a blip on the radar but I doubt it.

Buck 110, buck 112, case trapper, Delica these hav3 all been around a lot longer than the PM2.

OK and? You are further illustrating my point. Also, I listed Case as one of the data points. If you want modern, the best selling folding knife on Amazon is the Kershaw Chive.
