PM2 Flytanium Centering Stuggle...

So I’ve got a Paramilitary 2 with flytanium Ti scales and a Ti backspacer (bought it this way and all ready assembled). The action is fantastic. But the centering is not so great. I had read and tried the tricks to pull the blade back into center. I am not super familiar with the PM2 and it’s tips and tricks, but I’m not too shabby at centering up blades on other brands. So I know I have a basic understanding of it all. And I’ve centered up normal, production PM2’s before no problem. But with these Ti scales, everything seems so tight that there isn’t any movement or play/slop to address to try to pull the blade into center.

Any suggestions? Is this blade centerable, or is it a case of “it is what it is”? Any help or suggestions are super appreciated.

Thank you!!

Contact flytanium directly. They will help ya.

But it may be as simple as unscrewing the screws partially and tightening them in a specific order. Or even just tightening the pivot a tad.

I did not think to contact flytanium. Thanks! I played pretty extensively with the order and tightnesses of screws. I hope I can figure out the order a d tightness to correct this! Thanks again!!

The tolerance in the Fly scales is likely looser than the OEM scales, hence the misalignment. I've had aftermarket scales that were better than the originals, AWT vs Benchmade, and the aftermarket scales actually centered the blade. I've read reports that the Fly scales aren't made as well as one would have hoped, especially for the price.
