PM2 lock stick

I love my PM2 but it has gotten worse lock stick over the last day or two. I normally flick the blade open and that used to make it worse than a slow roll but even know opening slowly makes it stick. Any tips? I tried the graphite trick I read online and tried just opening/closing it to see if it goes away. I have yet to disassemble it.

Loosen the stop pin screws and rotate the stop pin about a quarter turn and see if it helps, you'd be amazed how much of a difference this can make.. idk why.

If that doesn't work you could try Sharpie instead of graphite.

Hmm never had a PM2 or any Spyderco with lock stick. Did have an older gen Emerson and had some nasty lock stick. At the same time it was kind of a good thing, at least some believe so, whereby it allows the lock stronger contact with the blade. Thus I didn't mind really and wasn't all that bad but when I wanted it smoother, would apply graphite like near daily. Also used with in combination of the sharpie too.

when i warrantied a pm2 for same several mos back they ended up grinding down contact point on bar ever so slightly, which resolved issue. they also returned my $5 along with knife.
