PM2 pivot screw question

Does anyone know where I can find two black pivot screws for a PM2? Apparently, the warranty folks at Spyderco do not have them. I need to change two silver screws for two black ones for matching hardware.

Alternatively, I am considering getting the screws powdercoated. Does anyone know for sure if powdercoating will change the threads to be too "thick" to thread properly? Will powdercoating impact the size torx needed for the head?

Norrells moly resin
KG gunkote
They are premixed.

Ceracoat being last because it is not as easy to use. Proper Mixing required.

Powder coating is to thick along with
Brownells alumahyde and Duracoat.

You could also use a acid.
Can't recall.. it's not ferric chloride.

When REK cerakoted mine, he left the threads alone (since you don't see them anyway). The torx portion since fits the bit perfectly.

I also had a duracoated pm2 once and like uxo2 said, the torx had to be worked in just a little, and the coating came off the threads when assembling it. It still worked out good in the end, but it was a little thicker.

There's definitely a good business opportunity out there for somebody to make aftermarket pm2 hardware.

Do you by chance know which is the most durable? I am thinking about doing the silver clip as well if it is durable and I can still see the Spyderco logo.

How could they possibly not have screws. That’s an American made knife. They are made right there.
