How come there is not a paramilitary 2 in H1 steel or the lc200n that the spydiechef will be made of?

My guess would be that H1 does not fare well as a compression lock, specifically the lock portion of the liner.

Plus H1 is used only in the Japanese knives due to the supplier being unwilling to ship it out, and the PM2 is a Golden model...

Besides the reasons listed above, I have also heard that H1 cant be FFG so a PM2 in that steel would have to be sabre ground. I believe there is a Salt series folder coming out with the Comp-lock though, so that may be right up your alley.

They could do it with lc200n. The upcoming Caribbean (from what I saw at Blade) will use lc200n, liners and a compression lock just like the paramilitary and it will be ffg. My only concern is the liners. I hope they use a very highly stainless steel.

Any pictures of this Caribbean??

I'm intrigued. When is this knife supposed to be released?

Isn't there a video somewhere where sal pulls out the Caribbean for a second? I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere on the forum, maybe the Amsterdam videos?
