I’m looking to possibly replace the g10 scales on my pm2 with micarta or tero tuff type material. I like a little bit rougher grippy feeling micarta. Didn’t know what people’s thoughts were on micarta vs tero tuff. And if there is a specific brand that is better quality I don’t want a cheap set this is my edc. As always thanks for any advise.

I went with green canvas micarta for my Gayle Bradley 2 from Sharp Dressed Knives. Couldn’t be happier

I have installed a set of terotuf scales on my PL2 and it is nice
Got mine from Fireside co.

I use cuscadi.de in the EU.

I’m going to maybe go against the grain here.. but as someone who has purchased and outfitted close to a dozen PM2s with various aftermarket options, ranging from micarta to brass, copper to titanium, carbon fiber to aluminum… I’ll just say that I have always ended up saying “I would have been better off leaving it alone”. So from someone that has been there/done that many times, I say “leave the stock scales on it”. You’ll never get the money back for aftermarket parts if you sell it.

Black G-10 Wharnie, Micarta, engraved ano Ti, carved/painted Maple, solid copper, range textured alum, tan, grey and camo G10.

My favorites, the ones that I had placed aftermarket are the stainless/Ti combo paired with the Maple/Cruwear combo. My woman has appropriated the super light Orange Ti. The weight goes from like 7.4oz on the copper to less than 3.5oz on the Alum, Maple and Ti.

The scales are Sventchikov (wood, used to be Russian, now based in Finland after all that) and MetonBoss (CA, little overpriced, little snooty, but they're nice scales)

I love burgundy and deep red and intend to get deep red Alum scales for a Yojimbo or some

I should say that... Weight may matter to you too... Out of Factory the Aluminum is lightest at 3.25, G10 next at 3.75-3.8 depending on model... The factory Micarta Cruwear is 4oz, lil heavier from the extra weight for full liners - Copper is ofc like 7oz but the titanium feels even lighter than the 3.25 Alum! And the Maple feels the lightest!! Love wild.
