anybody know what size the picket clip screws are on a PM2? I can't find my drivers so I'm looking for a cheap set. Will T4-T10 have me covered? looks like they might be smaller than that. Thanks

you need to take your knife down to sears store. they have the right size there. you just need to check them out against the screw drivers there just to make sure you get the right one. that is what I did when I went down there to buy every one I needed to work on a bunch of different knifes.

The body screws are T-8, the pivot is T-10 and the pocket clip is T-6. You can get get a set of all of them from your local hardware store.

Does anyone know ow the thread size and diameter of the screws? I am making a custom handle set and need the same screws for all hardware parts but longer to accommodate the handle construction's thickness. Any help would be great. I already know the driver sizes are t6, t8, and t10. That's all the internet will tell me. I just want to order some screws without running all over looking for them.

Paramilitary 2, Para 3, steel-lined Manix 2 / XL, steel-lined Native 5:
  • Scale screws are 4-40, 1/5 inch long, 100 degree T8 flat-head
  • Pivot screws are 6-32, 1/5 inch long, 100 degree T10 flat-head
  • Clip screws are button-head 2-56, T8 for the Manix 2/XL, T6 for the other knives. Length varies by knife.
Note that the 100 degree is the most difficult when it comes to finding replacements.

Thank you. This is very helpful. I'm using thicker ebony slabs so the 100 degre head won't be a deal breaker.

If you are making your own scales, the angle of the flat head shouldn't be a problem. IIRC, flat head screws in those sizes are 82 degrees, and that is easy to find in a countersink.
