So... Looking at a PM2 in s30v. Now the question is digi cam with coated blade or black g10 with satin. Thoughts?

Good call! You will find the DLC to be extremely durable.

I really like the DLC coated versions. Mostly for the increased corrosion protection at the pivot area inside the handle.

I also thing it looks awesome when it starts to wear. And that DLC coating is VERY tough and wear resistant. Something about good honest wear is just awesome to me.

The black is too ubiquitous. The digi cam, on the other hand is unique as no two are exactly the same.

Well they arrived today. It's a larger knife than I thought it would be. That's not an issue, it just surprised me. I need to move the pocket clip so I can carry it tip up, but other than that it's perfect.

Absolutely the finest design, IMO, of any folder I've seen in the last number of years. I love the compression lock.
