Took a couple of 1/4-20 cupped set screws, chamfered the ends, added nuts and gave ‘er a whirl. Seems to be copacetic, but I’ve only done one knife so far, with no reference as to store bought, the jury’s still out. I like it so far though.(tap the pics for focused😀). Thanks for looking in!

That's a good way to do it.
Pin spinning is most useful in a production setting.
