Hello All,
Does anyone know where I can get a pocket clip put on a Buck 112? Horizon Outdoors sells a Buck Duke w/a pocketclip, but they don't customize the knives themselves and can't ( or won't ) tell me where I can get it done. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

You know what I'd like to see??? A full-length belt/pocket clip...bolster-to-bolster...not one of those wimpy clips that SMKW or Jantz or one of the others sell... :grumpy:

How about it??? :)

Yes, welcome...a plus for Leroy and do a search for forum member, STR, he does alot of that type of work. Good luck, Preston

Trax,
Since you've taken the 110 apart, is it possible to replace the two pins in the rear bolster and replace them with screws in order to attach a clip? I'd love to see something like that in nickel silver. I could actually imagine carrying a 110 in my pocket if it could be done properly. What do you think? Is it possible?

Yes. Easiest way is to punch the pins out and replace with studs + screws. Do you have a long spring-steel clip??? With exactly the hole spacing of a 110, at exactly the right angles???

...Me neither... :(

It would be easier [not easy...but *easier*] to dis-assemble, drill & tap one bolster, re-assemble and mount a clip...if you had a clip... ;)

I'm keeping my eyes open at antique shops...old money clips and even some tie clips had long springy clips on them... :)
