I'm looking to pocket carry my small sebenza.
A belt sheath draws a little too much attention with me working in an office, and the pocket clip tends to get caught on things and come loose (I've had to take a pliers to it a few times already due to bending, and had it fall out of my pocket once.) I also like the ergos better without the clip getting in the way.

The problem is now how to protect my Precious from the random pocket change, lint, and car keys that roam around my pocket regions. Unfortunately pocket space is a premium for me, and I can't have a dedicated sebenza pocket :grumpy:

I'm looking at the CRK calfskin pocket pouch in particular as an option. Anyone have any experience with these, or other pocketable sheaths?

My dog paws came with a CRK sheath. The problem is, when I use the sheath for pocket carry, the knife slips out of the sheath and gets in with the change anyhow. AG. Russel has some nice sheaths with a closing flap that I like to use. There is also some very nice custom leather available from patrons of this forum.

My wife and I have both used the CRK pouches that come with their graphics knives. We've never had a problem with them. Hers is several years old now and shows some marks from the other stuff in her purse, but the knife is still primo.

I should add that we do leave the clips in place, so that may be a consideration for you if you remove the clip. I can vouch for the A G Russell pouch. I gave one to a buddy of mine for her Caly 3 that I got her a couple of Christmases ago. Both knife and pouch are doing fine.

Get the leather CRK slip sheath. It is perfect for carrying in the pocket.

I carry a small Sebenza in my Lft Frt pocket in a CRK pouch and have not ever had it come out & I have the pocket clip removed. I have new style lanyard tie bar on it & a Pocket clip insert over the hole. When I put into the pouch I fold the lanyard over the back side of the knife & tuck the very 2 ends of the lanyard between the to frame half's & then push It into the pouch & it locks right in & never moves till you pull it out. And the lanyard cord rapped around the back of the knife keeps your pocket crap from going into the pouch.
Works for me...................

Knives Ship Free Pocket Sheath is a good option for your small sebenza.

I also have a small Sebenza and carry it in a EDC bag in a CRK slip sheath. Over the last year it has done a nice job of keeping the knife from getting boogered up on the other loose stuff in the bag.

Later,
