Pocket carry your SAK - what are the alternatives?

Guys - was wondering how folks carry their EDC SAKs. I'm finding anything over two layers to be too bulky in pocket. Thanks.

Got a basic SAK with 2 blades that i carry in my front pocket, nothing uncomfy there.

My other SAK, the camper which i just recently started edc'ing again, goes in either my front pocket or in my jacket pocket. Got a sheath for it but i never wear a belt-sheath unless im at work or hiking.

I started with my Cybertool in a pocket - but it collected too much lint & dust so I bought a leather Victorinox holster which I have been wearing on my belt for the last 9 years or so.

I used to carry a 4-layer SAK (Explorer) in a belt holster made for a Fenix AA flashlight. It worked groovy. But now pocket carry works for me.

I carry my Compact (2 layer) or Cadet (2 layer alox) in the watch pocket of my jeans. If I carry my Explorer+ (4 layers), I made a small cobra stitched lanyard for it with a loop on the end. I half hitch the lanyard to a belt loop and then connect the SAK to the lanyard with an S-biner clip and then just have it dangle inside my back left pocket.

ClipDraw pocket clip. Works better on folding plier-style multitools, but should work on SAKs as well. Comes with all tools and stuff included, which is nice if you don't have access to tools to drill and tap to add a screw.

I used to carry a Climber in my front right pocket. Now it alternates between a Farmer and a Compact.

An alternate way of carrying my SAK is in the smaller pocket of a KSF Hunter's Pocket Sheath with an RC-3.

Any (SAK) from 4 layers and up is carried in a belt holster or is in a heavy coat pocket or in bob or psk.

As an example that everyone's definition of pocket carry differs, I've carried either a 111mm Rucksack or Hunter in my pocket (usually left rear) for 20 years now. Many would say that the lockblades are too big but it works just fine for me. Of course, I'm not talking about the Workchamp either.

Sewed a little slot in my pocket, it's a Case stockman in there but it fits upto a 4layer SAK.

MT, flashlight, and SAK (champion or cybertool) are in 3 separate belt sheaths. Keys connected to belt with carabiner and sitting in left front pocket. Wallet in right rear pocket. I don't like a lot of stuff in my front pockets. Some items might get moved to a side cargo pocket if I'm wearing cargo pants.

Either a Munroe Design D.T.S. or Mk2 stonewashed titanium dangler or TEC P-7 Suspension Clip. I have the latter type and it works well.

I attach a lanyard to mine and make sure it's long enough to let the knife sit vertically in my pocket, but short enough that it keeps it from laying down. I can carry a 3 layer rather comfortably that way.

Roger999, I've actually had a few pairs of khakis that had those mini pockets already sewn in. They really work great for small pocket knives, change, lighters, etc..

I pocket carry my Classic, on my keyring. My Champ, however, goes on the belt when I carry it. I'm doing a bit of an experiment, though, with carrying as little as possible, so no Champ or Multi-tool on the belt, and no one-handed pocket clip in the pocket. For now, that is. I'll be back to my evil, multi-knife-carrying ways soon, I'm sure.

I have my VIC swiss champ with paracord lanyard and carabiner in it, so that it hangs from belt loop in my pocket. It basically rests at the bottom, but kind of still hangs from the paracord, making it settle in the pocket without rolling around there. I love how it works.
