its my preferred method since i am not a fan of the clip sticking out. typically i either have a delica 3 or a chive in the pocket with my keys? what n where do u guys carry?

The only pocket carry knives I do are medium sized slipjoints. My large folders are all carried using the pocket clips. But I need to add that of my edc folders, I either add a deep carry clip that is made specifically for the knife (think STR), a premade deep carry clip from a knife parts store, the knife comes outfitted with a deep carry clip, or finally, I turn the original clip into a deep carry clip. After this I cut the clip down to a smaller size, usually between 1 to 1.5 inches in length, cover it with black 3M Stair Step tape, clip it in my pocket, and go about my merry way!:)

I carry slipjoints almost exclusively these days but when I used to carry knives with clips I would remove the clip and carry the knife vertically in the leg pocket on my jeans which is located just above my right knee. The pocket is deep enough that the knife stays put even while seated and shallow enough that I can still reach the knife to get it out.

Clip folders get clipped into my right front pocket and a slipjoint gets dropped into my left front pocket.

If a knife has a clip, I use it. right rear pocket.
Traditionals go in the right front pocket.

With clip without I only pocket carry. Knife always rides solo front right.

that is neat i never considered modifying or getting a deep carry clip. i have a sage 2 coming and i might look into a deep carry clip for it. with the flow thru design i am hesitant to drop it in my pocket for fear of my keys hitting the blade.

I prefer clip carry for sure but of course when I carry my Izula or Landi there is no clip. Shh don't tell the police!

I'm another one that can't stand a knife floating around in my pocket. Always carry my EDC clipped to my strong side pocket.

Traditional with bale gets a lanyard and goes in the watch pocket.

I just made a lanyard for my 710, it sits front right, some knives just don't feel right with pocket clips.
