I looked at a Civivi Baklash and I really liked the shape. However, I didn't like the blue liners so I passed. As happy as I've been with the quality revolution that's been taking place among Chinese budget knives, the popularity of goofy color accenting has kept me from enjoying some otherwise great designs.
Discussing this with a friend, he showed me a review of the Ruike Fang. It has a similar shape to the Baklash and looks comfortable. I don't mind a little color in the scales. However, the pocket clip looks goofy to me. It has a color accent that is actually a different blue than what is in the scales. It is also a little big and quite the opposite of a nondescript pocket clip.
Luckily, clips are removable and can sometimes be replaced. Does anyone make a more traditional or loop-over pocket clip for the Ruike Fang? Does anyone know if any existing pocket clips are interchangeable? (For instance, the loop-over clip on a Tangram Amarillo easily fits the Kershaw Dividend and the clip on a Kershaw Brookside also fits the Clash.)
