Just got this custom A-100, and I noticed that the pocket clip screws are cylindrical and torx shaped. Have custom Emersons ever shipped with this configuration, or have these been installed aftermarket?

Based on the pictures of the clip side on the customs, those you have appear to be completely aftermarket.

I agree with Rev, I've only ever seen Phillips and flat head screws on custom Emerson clips

Definitely aftermarket. Hopefully no one re-tapped the screw holes. If not you can always replace them with stainless phillips screws if you want. For what it's worth it doesn't look bad at all. I actually kinda like it.

I have to agree with EmersonREP; does not look that bad.

Thanks for the help. I figured as much. Thankfully the handle was not retapped, so I can just order some more screws from EKI.

Nice. Can't believe nobody else has said it.

We need some more pics of that one please.:p

NICE!!

Just had to ask didn't I? Now I want one!

Is that an Emerson custom or a conversion? Either way that is a fine looking piece.
