Pocket clip inserts

I prefer myCRKs without the pocket clip but definitely want the insert for a more finished look. I epecially like the contrast look with polished handles. GPKnives finally got some in stock so I could complete my little collection, at least as it stands so far. I wish CRK would just include these.

If the lock bar was polished I would want the insert polished too but I think the blasted lock bar and insert look good against the polished handles.

The first thing I do when I get a CRK is to remove the pocket clip and install clip inserts.

Just realized that I spent $300+ on clip inserts alone. I totally agree that they should really just include these with every CRK..

Btw, loving that bloodwood 21 on the bottom...

Even if they charged a few extra bucks I'd rather it was included. They aren't always in stock other places. I also wish they would leave to pocket clip off from the factory. That way you don't have the wear line on the lock bar if you don't want to use the clip. I admit that some of my CRKs are not users and I'd like to minimize marks on them. But even on my users I'd prefer not to have the pocket clip mark on the lock bar. It just doesn't blend with the EDC wear.

I do like that bloodwood small 21. I picked it up on eBay for $275 if I remember correctly. It came with a CRK leather pocket sheath but no box or anything else. I had limited myself to 10 CRKs but somehow I've got 13 now. I keep trying to choose three to pass along but haven't been able to do it. That bloodwood always gets on the list but quickly ends up back in the Pelican case. I might just be "stuck" with all of these.

I bought my polished insert direct from CRK. One side is polished and the other bead blasted.

Yes, I did it. With water sandpaper.
