Pocket clip problems.....

Do you guys ever get a knife that comes tip down and you switch it to tip up and the pocket clip is loose? This happened with my 0350 and my new Skyline and I was wondering what I can do to tighten it without scratching up the clips? Thanks.

Loose as in side/side wobble? Apply some blue Loctite and screw down till tight. Why are you worried about scratches?

Just add more bend to the clip. I usually just tweak it by hand while off knife. If you are perfectionist, clamp it in a vise with tongue depressors to protect the finish. Clamp it at the flat part that fits against knife that screws go into. Bend it a little and try it.

clips are made to be scratched! but like others said blue loctite is your friend

The clip is loose as in it has space between the clip and the handle.

This is what I've done in the past, with perfect results. Do it a little at a time, and then try it.

If there is space because the screws bottomed out, not so easy. You'll need shorter screws. Call the manufacturer if its reputable.

I bent my clip using a rather unorthodox method that is hard to describe, but thank you guys for all the advise.
