How's it going everyone? I've got a P Sebenza that I want to mount a pocket clip to. I've got a factory crk clip and screw on its way. Does anyone know the thread size of the screw so I can grab the correct tap. Thanks so much!

Maybe you already have a solution, but be aware (if you are not already) that the CRK clips only function because they sit in a milled pocket. With only one screw and no milled pocket, the clip will rotate sideways, come loose, and be basically useless unless you have some way that you plan on fixing it in place.

Looks like a 5-40 from what little screw I can measure and the tap I thread into the scale.
Broke the ball off in head of the screw putting it back together trying to check this..Had to take a .036 carbide drill and drill a hole into the hex ball to get it out..it's out though.
I will post a pic of the little ball later tonight :p

As promised..quite a bugger to get out once it broke off.

That's no good! Haha. At least it was just the ball of the wrench and not the head of the screw! So a 5-40 ran down the hole? Thanks so much for the help everyone!

I actually asked crk to mill it for me but they don't want to touch it. I've got a friend/knife maker that's going to mill the pocket for me.

I agree about bold move... with what "P"'s are going for that's a $200-$300 move... more as time goes on! You can buy a nice new/newis CRK for what your knife will sell for... All that being said it's your knife. Bart

I totally hear where you are coming from and under normal circumstances that's what I would do, sell the P and get a user 21. But this one is special. It came up for sale here a while back and looked at it many of times but was going to pass because it had initials engraved on it. Well once I actually paid attention to the initials, I realized they matched my wife's initials! I knew then I had to have it! I'd really love to carry it but find myself not because of no clip.

Yes, the tap seemed fine threading into the existing hole.

I would totally put a clip on it...that one is yours forever with the initials! Please post pictures once it's done.
Great pic btw.

Agreed. Put a clip on it and make it yours!

We'd love to see pics of your finished beauty.
