I hate black pocket clips, so I switched all of them on my new 4 Emerson's

They look good with the tan G10, but for black G10 I prefer black pocket clips
 
I paint all of my silver clips black. I think the black on black and the contrasted black on light both look good. More importantly the black clips are much less noticeable than the shiny silver ones when I clip my knife IWB behind my belt.
 
You can always buy titanium pocket clips and anodize them to the color you're looking for.
 
I like both colored clips. Depending on what day suits me.

For instance I have a Gentleman Jim I carry with Black blade and black clip. I carry that at night because the blacked out knife does not show at night. But I carry that one strictly for self defense mode.


Then I like the silver clip on my po boy conversion and also on some of the utility models I carry.

Is that an Emerson skull clip or one you made yourself?

I wish I could find someone that made them besides Emerson because they are WAY to overpriced on his site.

It's an Emerson skull clip, and yes they are a tad bit spendy.
I wish I did know where to get them, I would have more than one!

Is the tan A-100 something that is currently available?? The A-100 is probably my favorite Emerson.

Hi Larry,
They make different colored ones at Christmas & call them Christmas knives
The tan A100 is dated 2010, the guy I got it from also had a hunter orange one, but I was to slow on contacting him & someone else got it
The tan one was NIB with paper work

Thanks for the response. The tan looks really nice! I'd be nuts about an orange one, too! Wish these were more of a production item.

Very nice, I agree that the metal works best on tan knives.

If it wasn't so busy I'd go on etsy find some trinket, buy it and attach it to my pocket clips like he did with the final fantasy wolfs head.
 
I got a carbon blue fiber for my Reese's slash

Rio, that's a cool blue carbon fiber -- by any chance do you have a pic of it on an Emerson knife?
