I just started getting into benchmade not to long ago. The 4 benchmade knives i own the pocket clip looks the same as far as screw size and whole size. Im trying to find a deep carry clip to fit my mini reflex. I see some on ebay but say they are for certain models(most for grips) Can anyone tell me if the clip for a griptilian/mini griptilian and a mini reflex would have the same screw size? Does benchmade make all their clips fit the same way on most of their knives?

Looks like they will fit. Call Benchmade, they will send you one for free.

You can ask for a deep carry clip. You can also ask for the clip for a 810 Contego. Technically, they're only supposed to send you the clip for the knife you own, but you can get around that. There are also a couple sites that have titanium deep carry clips that fit the hole pattern for Benchmades.

I have never had any issue getting a different style clip. I even told the guy I own a 710 and like the split arrow. He sent me 5 split arrows and 2 deep carries to try.

Benchmade just sent me a stainless and a black deep carry BM clip. I like the design a lot, and the price ($0.00) even more. The current black ones are painted rather than oxide, so they will flake over time. If that bothers you, a stainless finish may be the way to go. But if you asked Benchmade for both, I'm sure they will send it to you free :)

Benchmade clips generally use that same 3-hole pattern with a few exceptions (ex: balis, OTFs, real small pocket folders, etc.). The clips for the Grip will fit the Mini Reflex, as both use that primary 3-hole clip system. Note that Benchmade makes at least three different clips that use that three-hole pattern, in various different finishes (all are interchangeable.)

Also note that most aftermarket clip adds seem to mention either the Grip, 940, 710, and 707 lines as I guess they are most popular and get the most search hits...all of those knives use the same clip hole pattern (which will fit your Mini Reflex). However, some aftermarket clips, especially the lowride ones, will work on certain Benchmades better than others. For example, I have a larger aftermarket low ride clip on my 710 that if I put on my 707 would arc too high (sitting the knife too deep in the pocket relative to the knife size) and have a length that was too long (covering much of the knife, almost touching the AXIS bar, and making a contact point that feels awkward to me in the pocket.) I also have a smaller clip on my 707 with a smaller arc that would not sit the 710 low enough in my pocket, and the overall size of it looks goofily out of place on the larger 710.

Finally, not sure if these caught your eye or not but the carbon fiber clips look amazing in person but function poorly. They do not clip the knife tight enough to my pocket for me to feel comfortable using them. So for aftermarket clips, I have settled on titanium. There are some quality ti clips you can get on a certain website in auction format for under 10 bucks in many cases, and I think they are great quality for the money and own many of them.

I think most are the standard three hole clip size. Spydercos old clips were also this size. I know the Emerson skull clip works on the Spyderco Manix and BM Griptilian.

BM is now limiting people to 10 clips per year. Just throwin that out there for those that havent heard. I doubt thatll be a huge problem for most people unless you have a huge edc rotation that gets used often.

actually, I am at my limit already. I rotate through all my knives, plus my two oldest each have one. The biggest problem is that the deep carry clip is flimsy compared to their standard clip, so I end up catching it on my seatbelt and bending it.

May be you should let your kid order his own, and give them back to you, so that you won't be out until next year?

I stand corrected! I have two trusty grips so I wont need the limit for a while. Maybe someday ill be lucky enough though.

I'm not sure if they'll send clips to a 14y.o. kid who calls out of the blue asking for clips. Worth a shot, I suppose.

They wont know the age of the person if an email is sent requesting a clip. Im 15, so i just politely ask a BM rep in an email whenever i need a new one. Has worked well so far!
