So I just got my new Endura 4 FFG, and like most other people, i would much rather have a polished pocket clip on it. I also just got a Delica 4 on ebay, but i didnt have a pocket clip. Could i just order a polished one for the delica and then swap them out? or are the clips 2 different sizes? Also where is the best place to get a new clip?

You can order them from Spyderco but they are like $5 bucks plus shipping. I don't know if the different clips will work for those knives but you should be able to take the one off and see if it fits the other. You can also strip the paint and polish it yourself.

Yes, and no. Assuming the D4 is FRN, it's the exact same clip. If it's SS, then the mounting hole pattern for the three screws will be the same, but the clip will not have the center hole. That makes it stronger, but prevents it from being mounted for tip down carry on an FRN knife, and blocks the lanyard hole if mounted for tip up on one.

well both are FRN so i guess that shouldnt be a problem. So how do i go about ordering a new clip? i didnt really see any straight forward ordering page for them on the spyderco website.

well i just got an email back from spyderco. they responded pretty fast. looks like ill be ordering one from SFO

I did the same thing you wanted to do. I called the SFO a couple weeks ago and ordered polished silver clips and I must say they look so much better than the black clips...

I got a used knife with a lot of scratches on the clip. SFO wants $5 for the clip and $5 to mail it. This being a used knife I did not want to spend the $10 on a clip. Instead I used a wire wheel on my dremel tool and stripped the finish off. It's does not look polished, but more of a bare metal satin look(sort of like titanium). I think it looks great and it doesn't draw attention like a shinny clip does.

actually i got an email from SFO today stating that the clip prices range from $3.95-7.95 and that shipping is only $1.95 in the US

The beauty of having the Orange Military in the current production lineup is that you can also get uncoated clips for a Military. :)
