This is a great little gents folder. Fully fileworked backbar, liners and pivot screw heads. The bolsters have been heat colored blue/purple and the liners anodized blue and gold. The titanium backbar has been heat colored a variety of blue and purple colors. The bolster screws have been hidden for a cleaner look. The scale screws have been heat colored gold and they have been indexed- facing in the same direction. Precise fit and finish with precision lockup.

striper.....looking good....doyou mind if i ask you abot the liners.....when people say they are anodized a certain color.....what does that mean exactly.....how do you control what color they are.....thanks for any explanation.....ryan

Ryan,
The liners are titanium and the anodizing means that they are colored. You can heat color them but you are limited to a few colors and it's tough to keep them uniform.
These liners were anodized electrically. They were immersed in a bath of TSP (trisodiumphosphate) and distilled water. An electrical current was run through the bath and depending on the voltage you can get different colors. The lower voltage gets you bronze, purple and blue. As the voltage gets higher you get yellows, pinks, aqua and green at 100 volts.

thanks for the explanation striper.....i was hoping to get to see some of your work in person at the ny show but i won't be able to go that weekend....i'm gonna be out of town.....ryan
