hey, I think you are on to something there...how about "little bite" or "nibble" :)

I don't know what you are going to call it, but I'm going to call it drop dead gorgeous! That mammoth ivory has beautiful, rich colour and the pattern of the steel is one of my favorites.

lean, mean and sweet ta boot... with the teeth idea by aaron and RL... maybe call it the Piranha?

Very nice. It reminds me of a Howard Clark knife I saw at a New York show a few years back. Howard Clark doesn't make many damascus straight knives, but when he does they tend to be spectacular. This one was no exception. It had rope filework, mammoth scales, and a style very similar to yours. It was purchased by a very discriminating art dealer for his personal collection. I suspect that art dealer would have liked your knife as well. :)

Thanks to all for your kind words. It really does mean a lot to me that others who actually know what they are talking about find my work satisfactory.
In keeping with the toothy theme I named this ones brother the Nibbler, I may just use it for the whole series.
Thanks for all the suggestions and the encouragement.
Steve

Taking a hint from Joe's & prior posts, how about naming it the "Sweet Tooth"?? It sure is sweet looking and it's no doubt a sharp little tooth too. I bet a mammoth would have a really BIG sweet tooth! :D
