So I came up with that pocket edc and was sanding the handle yesterday and noticed some weird stuff going on with the liners. I didnt think about it until I got up to 400 grit and realized what it was. I drill small holes in the liners so the epoxy will have somewhere to go and didnt trace the tang onto the handles this time. Well, I drilled like I normally do not thinking about how narrow the tang was on this knife! Now I have small half rounds showing up filled with epoxy. I like the knife but obviously cant sell it so its going to the sheath maker for a pattern. See the holes on the liners?

This is not a mistake, this is a great learning experience! I'd be willing to bet this never happens again... That being said, I think it adds character to the knife and assuming I knew when purchasing it, I'd be happy to own it. Looks like a very nice knife, and depending on the dimensions, similar to the one I have been sketching out as my first knife.

That could turn out to be a happy accident.

You could make some interesting patterns using that technique.

I don't think that knife looks bad at all.

that is still a great looking knife I like the curve of the handle it would be perfect for EDC. If you end up carrying it great, if this thing ends up in a drawer In 3 weeks I'm going to convince you to sell it to me :) don't let it end up in a drawer.

SH!
That's a beauty of a handle & hell, some girls look good with dimples, so does this knife.

All that being said-it's good to see your integrity as a craftsman.
Little mistakes like that are easily forgiven when pointed out up front & it sure as heck won't effect the functioning of the knife.
Put it up on the EX,tell the story & I'm sure it won't last long.

Ok guys, If anyone wants it for 45.00 shipped without sheath its yours. Ill have to make another one anyway for a pattern. Here are some in hand shoys and a better pic of the scales.
3" blade, 3 1/2" handle
Amboyna burl scales with brown liners and white pinstripe.
