Alright everyone,

After posting my two previous pocket fixed blades, I asked for input and ya'll gave it. Here is my latest rendition. I ground the blade down to .010 before sharpening this time, also, I changed the shape of the handle. This one is flatter on the sides, and thinner. The sheath I changed as well. It is now more rounded, and I included a belt loop. I also moved my makers mark, so it isn't so obvious. I am still planning on doing more shapes, but I already had this one heat treated, so I decided to finish it and see if there were any other improvements I could incorporate before I did some more.

Specs:
Aldo's 1084, 1/8"
scales are g10, textured
pins and lanyard tube are SS
The sheath is tandy 8-9 oz, hand stitched

What do ya'll think about this one?

I really like the overall size, the blade shape, and the handle ergos - I just really don't like that color of G10. It looks like putty to me, especially when combined with the texture you added. Handy looking knife, otherwise.

Liam,

I know what you mean. It is kind of a bland looking color. This was a piece of g10 that I got from an iron in the hat drawing at our last guild meeting. I had never worked with g10 before, so I wanted to try it out.

I'm a big fan of wharnies. That looks great! Maybe for the next one, contour some swells into the handle. The handle shape looks good already, and on a small knife, you can never have too comfortable of a grip.

Thanks J and gooeytek,

Gooey, if you look at the two previous ones I posted, they were more of a contoured handle. I did this one after some suggestions from some people on here. I guess I will have to see which one is more popular.
