Hello Guys, Rekat...

Recently a customer sent me a Pocket Hobbit to have a horizontal belt sheath made for it.

This would be the first time I have held a REKAT product in my hand. I'd seen the posts on quality issues, and was Very interested in seeing this one and actually how the quality of the product was.

Well the sheath turned out great after playing with several designs. I came up with a reverse grip right hand draw with the majority of the blade exposed, but held firmly in place by the holster.

Now the question is :
Would I buy a REKAT product ??

You Bet I Would!
I was highly impressed with the fit and finnish of this particular blade. I don't know who said that REKAT's actions weren't smooth,, but on this knife,, it was smooth as silk. Each type of lock is different,so naturally it's going to have a different feel on opening.

Anyway ,, I just thought I'd pop in here and tell you guys,, how much I liked this strange looking,, but really cool and well made blade....

Now I want a SIFU..

Eric,

The sheath sounds interesting. Can you post a picture or give a little more detail?

Thanks,

Kirk

Hey Kirk...

I'm still kicking myself for not taking a picture of it..

If you look on my site it's very similar to the Tool pouch I did for the Kershaw Multipliers...
