A lot of heavy duty collectors hang out on the Bernard Levine Forum. I've learned a lot there.

Also agree with getting yourself a copy of Levine's Guide To Knives & Their Value. The 2nd addition is affordable (3rd & 4th cost more) and will have all the info you need to get started. Check Amazon.

theres been quite a few and you may want to search amazon to see what they have. also knife world magazine sells a variety of knife books.
