Pocket Knife ID help

I bought this as part of a tool lot at an estate auction a while ago. I knew the guy who owned it, (he had passed away a few weeks before) and he always used quality tools. I just want to gat all the info I can get on it. What brand is it, where is it made, when it was made, what type of pocket knife is it? The knife blade has Sabre, Japan, 619 stamped on it.

I have a Sabre brand knife I bought in the mid 70s. They were made in Japan, and were not particularly expensive, IIRC.

Had a Grand-daddy Barlow by Sabre.

Not very good steel IMO. I wouldn't buy another. Sorry :thumbdn:
