Pocket knife sock

I made this pocket knife sock just under a year ago (or somewhere around there), and never posted about it. One of the reasons I made it was because the pockets on womens pants are so shallow, I was concerned about losing a knife. Other pocket slips and sheaths are too bulky, and would take up too much space; plus this for me was extremely inexpensive. I crocheted it with 100% cotton yarn, then weaved in some threads for color. It also seems to help keep knives in the pockets of sweatpants/lounge pants, where they would normally slide out very easily.

I like it, very creative and colorful... at least compared to what I was thinking when I read the thread title. I assumed someone literally used a "sock".

Heres one that Esnyx prepared earlier-
I was honoured to receive it as a birthday present when I won a beaut rehandled TL 29 from his giveaway.
Its the first pouch he ever made and it is in constant use here. Fantastic.

I thought the same thing, and I remember when I was a kid my grandpa loaned me his single six and gave it to me in an old tube sock.
 
I wasn't sure what to expect when I clicked into this thread, but that is incredibly cool. The way the colored threads twist around the tube is a very nice touch. Well done!
 
And I am wondering why no one has asked how much to commission one of their own in a specific colour?

I imagine a discussion in the bus, the curious old lady asking "Will it be for a girl or a boy?" and the answer : "No, Ma'am, this is for my knife!" :D

Very cool sock, I have 2% sewing talent, so that is impressive to see, especially with the multi-colors.
