I was traveling through a small town, my mind wandering, thinking about the old pocket knives I might find for Christmas. I was just passing the the old town ice making building, thinking I've never seen an ice making building. And there was the sign, in all its glory.

Show us a few pictures of your pocket knives for Christmas of 2011.

This one was really rusted, after a bath in mineral oil, and a thorough cleaning, she shines like a Christmas ornament.

Awesome photo!

I didn't get any knives for Christmas although I did "gift" myself a few recently. Apparently my friends and family think that I already have too many.:D

Mine have the same opinion about me.

I saw the feed store an hour away has "Case Knives" on their lighted sign board now. Stopped in and found what I expected: short on variety, long on prices. Oh, well. Held a peanut - too small as I thought it was. Oh, well.

Most of the Co-ops back home in middle TN and northern AL have knives usaully Case. I haven't stopped into any yet since arriving in northern TX.

Gifted a few to family this year, and a few to myself :D

A Camillus US camp knife and a GEC #73 Scout in green bone are on their way to me today.

When I first held a peanut I had the exact same feeling as I was used to larger folders, but I bought one (yellow CV) anyway to "experience" what they all talked about. It actually took me over a year to develope a relationship with it. Now I have several but carry my AG Russel Peanut almost 50 percent of the time. I guess it is like moss around here, it kind of grows on you..
