It is such a great knife. I was fortunate enough to win it in Mykel M's GAW a while back. It is beautiful. I snapped a quick pic just now but will take some with good lighting tomorrow. Thanks again Mykel. I love this knife.

Man o man, I really like both of them! How do you sharpen "scandivex" grind?
Mykel, do you do handles like that for others?
Jds1, tell me about that double bit hatchet.
HWF, you lucking dog, thank for the pic,
I gotta stop typing cause I drooled all over my keyboard

Ok Brad - I see one of these in your future!!

Thanks Jeff, it's a great design and I can't wait to get another one.

You are very welcome Hugh, you made it even better by using it,I love the patina.

Man o man, I really like both of them! How do you sharpen "scandivex" grind?Sand paper on a piece of foam.(think mouse pad or something similar.I have some scrap 1" thick foam I use for my kydex press that works great for convex edge sharpening.)

Mykel, do you do handles like that for others?I would if I could. I had the use of the tools at the shop I worked at, but since being laid off I can't use the facilities anymore. :(

Replied in red.
I hope your keyboard is ok Brad.

There's one with Maple(?) Burl scales out in the wild too and it is a real looker, hopefully the owner will throw up some pics.:)

The Pocketmuk was designed by jds1, and I still have the pattern. outdoorsfan has a sweet one in maple burl.

I don't know how I missed this one (pocket muk) but all these pics.... well....it's just like Christmas.
Brings me joy!
However the right side of my brain is still looking for specs/dimensions, what say you, you muk heads.
Also, what was the design intended purpose/use/utility of this knife?

adorable and ferocious all in one. Love this. Thanks for helping make my addiction worse, mates ;)

7" overall
3" blade
3/32" thick

As for design, I should probably leave this to Jeff, but I think it would be a great small game and skinning knife. And of course, I can change any of the dimensions to suit the user.

I just admire the elegant curves of the Nessmuk pattern and wanted an EDC sized version.

Jeff

I'm very fortunate to have it. It is one of my most treasured knives. I'm using it as much as I possibly can before I leave for basic training on Tuesday. Don't know what I'm gonna do without my knives!

Thanks for designing a masterpiece! ;)
