It's extremely rare that I buy myself a knife these days, as there is still a lot of equipment and materials I could use in my own shop. But, I saw this knife posted here on Bladeforums recently by Stoil Manchev Stoil Manchev and I just had to have it.

Stoil is based in Bulgaria, and is a skilled knife maker and an adept artist, look him up on Instagram. His customer service is as good as anyone could expect, and this knife in particular was an exceptionally good value. I don't hesitate to recommending looking him up and giving him your business.

I've been interested in custom knives long enough to not be easily impressed- the fit and finish, symmetry, edge geometry and mechanical function of this knife would be impressive in a knife that's 3x the price. This is a very fine cutting tool, and one that I expect I'll carry with me every day.

Ah! That's where it went........ Love the green canvas scales and laser like blade.....

Fine looking slip-joint, reminds me a lot of my Keith Johnson Sodbuster pattern. I worn one out and just replaced it with a new one. Attempted to attach a picture for some reason I am unable to attach to Blade Forum

That is sleek and smooth looking. Definitely see the pocket appeal. I like the satin finish (?) with micarta.
yeah, looks to me like a +/- 400 grit hand rub- one of the reasons I sprung for it. I'm making a belt pouch for it because almost anything that ends up in my pockets gets smashed at some point

finished up the belt pouch last night. Tried out a whole bunch of new(to me) processes and features, so it was a good learning experience. Had it on my belt all day, and it works as expected
